Oyo State government says 17 schools in the state that were shut down
last month after they staged a protest, will only be re-opened when the
students, management and principals of the affected schools tender an
apology to the state government.In a statement released by the Oyo state communication team yesterday July 11th, the state government insisted that an apology from the schools that partook in a violent protest on June 6th, must be tendered before their schools can be re-opened.
